Piha Domain Upgrade - June 8 Start

Your Piha Ratepayers and Residents Assn. has received the following uodate and schedule of work from Aucjkand Council, Parks & Community Facilitues.

Kia ora Piha Community Organisations,

 We are happy to advise that the works on the driveway and amenity upgrades within Piha Domain will commence on Monday 8 June.

 The attached plan reflects the final design developed through workshops with the Waitākere Ranges Local Board and Piha R&R Association. (See Plan HERE.)

 Project Scope:

  • Installation of five new picnic tables, including replacement of two existing tables

  • Replacement of one existing seat and installation of three additional seats

  • Construction of eight garden beds to enhance amenity and help guide vehicle movement

  • Installation of one new bin

  • Resurfacing and edging of the driveway and playground carpark

 Timing:

  • Start date: Monday 8 June

  • Duration: Approximately three weeks, subject to weather and site conditions

 What to expect:

  • Temporary disruption to access and parking while works are underway

  • Traffic management in place where required

 Minor refinements may occur during delivery, including adjustments to garden placement to respond to site conditions.
