Piha Recovery Project - Report to Council - Nov. 2025
Following the aftemath of Cyclone Gabrielle in early 2023, Piha Ratepayers and Resident Assn. committee applied for, and were successful in recieving, a grant from the Auckland Council Recovetry Office.
A requirement of the grant was to provide back to Aucland Council a report outlining how Piha came together, what we learned and how we can continue to create a healthy, vibrant future for our local community. We owe big “thank you and well done” to the committee and community members who have been involved with recovery efforts, the commuity outreach and event, and who authored the report.
