Interim use While long -term decisions are being made, some sites may be available for short or medium -term, non - residential activities. These interim uses help keep land active and cared for. Community groups, trusts, and incorporated societies are welcome to apply for low -risk activities such as native planting, grazing, small community events, temporary art or play spaces, and weed control. Commercial uses may also be considered where they re duce council costs or generate revenue. Any interim use must be temporary, low -risk, and must not compromise future decisions about the land
