ANZAC Parade - Thank you for your support

The Piha R&R Committee would like to thank some those who made this years parade and ceremony at Lion Rock successful:

  • Piha R&R applied for permission, and a grant for the work, to divert the Piha Stream and prove a dry area in front of the memorial plaques for the ANZAC Ceremony.

  • Waitakere Local Board approved the grant and smoothed the way for the work to be undertaken.

  • Dig-It Excavators and Willie Beggs coordinated with Piha R&R and got the job done.

  • Piha Memorial RSA, as always, did a splendid job of organising the parade and the ceremony.

  • RSA Women did the Mahi and produced all the wreaths laid by local comminute organisations,.
