Surf Boats – Horse made history by now being the most successful sweep in NZ. Our A crew is the most successful crew in NZ., Our Piha Boaties have produced the greatest decades in boats in winning NZ titles, and we have done it in only 8 years ( and there is more to add on the next few years )
Piha greatest decade 2008 – 2015. We have to date got 26 NZ title medals (still 2 years to add ? )
Nick Berry. First time a person has won the open 2km run 3 times in a row.
Also a big congrats to our the 3 Piha athletes for making the New Zealand development squad – Hannah Williams and Ryan Gilmour and the NZ Open Squad Teneale Hatton.
